Detailed Itinerary of This Tour
Taj Hotel, Mumbai
Day 01: Arrive Mumbai
Meeting on arrival and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 : Mumbai / Mangalore
Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Mangalore. On arrival in Mangalore
airport transfer to beach resort in Ullal. Rest of the day free on the beach.
Overnight at the resort.
Day 03 : Ullal - Coorg
Morning proceed to Coorg.Rest of the day free for nature walks in the
plantation.Overnight at hotel
Day 04 : Coorg
Morning visit world famous and largest Tibetan settlements in South India
- Bylekuppe Tibetan settlement. Then sightseeing of Madikeri covering Abbey
Falls, Museum, Madikeri Fort & Raja's Seat. Rest of the day free.Overnight
at hotel
Day 05 : Coorg - Dubare Elephant Camp - Coorg
Morning proceed to Dubare Elephant camp - where tourists can participate in
a host of activities and learn about the behaviour of these gentle animals guided
by an interpretor and half an hour Elephant ride too. A typical visit will begin
with grooming, where the Elephants are oiled, scrubbed and bathed in the Cauvery
river.Then can watch Mahouts cook a broth of ragi , horse gram and salt and
feed them with sugarcane, coconuts and bananas.
Afternoon half day excursion to Talacauvery - origin of River Cauvery and visit
Bagamandala temple.Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Coorg - Mysore - Somnathpur - Mysore
Morning proceed to Mysore. Afternoon excursion to Somnathpur. Visit Chennakesava
temple - the exquisitely carved, star - shaped temple with triple towers is
a perfect example of Hoysala architecture.The temple walls depict scenes from
Ramayana, Mahabarata & Bhagavatha and the life times of the Hoysala Kings.Overnight
at hotel.

Day 07 : Mysore - Srirangapatnam - Ranganthttu - Mysore
Morning visit Srirangapatnam stands the ruins of Hyder Ali and Tippu Sultan's
capital from which they ruled much of South India during the 18th centuary.
Then visit Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary.Experience the excitement of a boat ride
that takes you within touching distance of the birds as marsh crocodiles bask
in the sun.
Afternoon sightseeing of Mysore covering Mysore Palace,Museum, Giant Nandi (Bull)
- the vehicle of Lord Shiva carved out of one block of granite and Chamundi
Hills where a beautiful Hindu temple is located.Evening visit
world famous Brindavan Garden - the musical illuminated fountains with colourful
lights transform this place into a fairy land.Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Mysore - Sharvanabelagola - Belur - Halebid - Chikmaglur
Morning drive to Chikmaglur enroute visiting Shravanabelagola - this is one
of the most important Jain pilgrim centres. Here is the 17 meters high monolith
statue of Lord Bahubali built in 981 AD and is one of the world's tallest monolith
statue.
Afternoon excursion to Belur and Halebid visiting the finest specimens of Hoysala
architecture such as the Chennakeshava Temple and the Hoysaleshwara Temple.

Day 09 : Chikmaglur - Hospet
Morning proceed to Hospet.Rest of the day free.Overnight at hotel
Day 10 : Hospet - Hampi - Hospet
Full day sightseeing of Hampi visiting the famous ruins of the Vijayanagara
Empire covering King's Balance, Queen's Bath, Lotus Mahal, Vithala Temple with
its musical pillars and Stone Chariot, the Virupaksha Temple, Pushkarini Tank
& Ugra Narasimha.Overnight at hotel
Day 11 : Hospet - Aihole - Pattadakkal - Badami
Morning drive to Aihole which is famous as the " Cradle of Indian Temple
Architecture ''. Visit the famous Lad Khan & Durga temples and proceed to
Pattadakkal a world heritages site visiting Virupaksheswara, Mallikarjuna and
the Papanatha Temples were built during the 7th and 8th centuries.The Badami
Cave Temples have 4 rock - cut temples - 3 Hindu and one Jain. Of the 3 Hindu
temples one is dedicated to Shiva and the other 2 to Vishnu.Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Badami - Bijapur - Badami
Early morning proceed to Bijapur visiting the spectacular Gol Gumbaz, the tomb
of Mohammad Adil Shah, 44 meters in diameter and is the second largest in the
world. Also visit Juma Masjid & Ibrahim Roza. Return to Badami for overnight
stay.
Day 13 : Badami - Goa
Morning drive to Goa - offers one of the most beautiful beaches of India. A
famous colony of Portugal, still reminds some traditions of Portuguese. Evening
arrival in Goa. Overnight at hotel

Day 14 : Goa
Relax on the beach. Overnight at hotel
Day 15 : Goa
A combined sightseeing of the marvellous churches of Old Goa including the famous
Basilica of Bom Jesus & temples. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16 : Goa - Mumbai
Transfer to airport in time to connect flight for onward destination.
